Job Description
A Zonal Manager will be responsible for handling a complete zone business which may comprise multiple states. As a part of the management the ZM will be responsible to transfer the vision and mission statement to the BDMs and BDAs to keep them aligned with the common goal.

Responsibilities:
- Making Business plans and strategies, coordinate with management for preparing annual budget and business plan for the zone
- Make Annual and Quarterly plan for market development activities in alignment with the management
- Drive identified Initiatives in the Zone to achieve the overall sales objectives
- Identify & effectively implement Major and Key initiatives at zonal level in the areas of Market Development, Distribution expansion & Sales Operation
- Drive collection of receivables in case of exception and ensure the overall collections of the zone
- Continuously identify gaps in the regular working of BDMs and BDAs and remedy the situation without allowing it to damage the business
- Ensure timely recruitment and retention of right quality people
- Identify poorly performing field employees and take suitable remedial actions
- Carry out intensive field visits and interact with employees, distributors, business partners, schools and end users
- Important objectives to be achieved through market development activities
- Reviewing monthly, quarterly and yearly sale of zone
