Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Visual communication specialist with 3-5 years of work experience, who can communicate by augmenting design aesthetics to any form of communication. The candidate should be someone who understands the communication and creates interesting representation to enhance the messaging. We are looking for someone who understands content very well and has exposure in designing both static and moving visuals and has worked on creating media files and generic creatives and built a compelling narrative.
This role is in the Corporate Communications team of Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR), the largest RD center of Samsung in India.
Role and Responsibilities
Designing: Visual Aesthetics, User Obsession Problem Solving Skills
- A strong portfolio showing design thinking and creative problem solving.
- Create and maintain high standards of creative designs
- Exceptional storytelling Presentation skills. Always pushes quality experiences regular documentation with the right tools processes. Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate ideas into visuals on different platforms defines the design philosophy for multiple channels (Internal Comms, Social media, external branding).
- Skills and experience with Design Prototype applications like Illustrator, Premier Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, In Design etc.
- Knowledge on HTML coding will be a plus point.
- Drives consistency between illustration/imagery and content across the pages based on understanding and research
- Any photography experience will be a plus. Creating Videos will be a crucial part of this role
- Experience creating and optimizing graphics for the web.
- A deep understanding of the Design Thinking Process. Empathy and advocacy for users, in all areas of work.
- Get competitive insights and include these in design briefs.
- Desire to learn new things and keep abreast in terms of new tool and technology. Strong self-motivation and drive to succeed. Flexible to make changes based on the design brief and requirements.
Managing Internal Communications:
- Create/ edit content and design compelling visuals to deliver the message.
- Plan end-end concept for a campaign with interesting designs to capture attention.
- Independently performs medium to high complexity creative tasks that are cohesive, simple, intuitive while following the brand style guides.
- Creates user-centric designs by integrating communication objectives, target audience, and Samsung creative assets and communicates the messages to the organization through various platforms
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, cohesive creative deliverables that are well-documented and ready for execution.
- Assist in implementation of new design processes to support business initiatives and goals. Independently manage routine tasks of communication of broadcast emails, intranet page updates etc.
