we are hiring for the following position for Vijayawada location.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
1. Test Planning and Strategy:
- Define the overall testing strategy and approach for different environments.
- Develop detailed test plans, including scope, objectives, resources, and schedule.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers.
- Assign tasks based on individual strengths and project requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment.
3. Test Execution and Management:
- Oversee the execution of test cases, both manual and automated.
- Ensure thorough testing of applications across different platforms (Java, .NET, Azure, etc.).
- Monitor test progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, and issue tracking.
- Implement and maintain quality standards and metrics for the project.
5. Defect Management:
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
6. Automation and Tools:
- Promote the use of test automation tools and frameworks to improve efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies and integrate them into the testing process.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate effectively with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing goals and progress.
- Prepare and present test reports and metrics to management.
8. Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing and quality assurance.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of testing processes to identify areas for improvement.
9. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the testing process and develop mitigation strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Desired Skills:-
1. Automation Tools: Proficiency in tools like Selenium, JIRA, Postman, Jenkins, and Cucumber for automating and managing tests.
2. Programming Languages: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python to write and maintain test scripts.
3. Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
4. Database Management: Skills in SQL and database management to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
5. Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools like LoadRunner to ensure system scalability and reliability.
6. WMS Knowledge: Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems, particularly Red Prairie, to test and validate logistics and supply chain processes.
7. CI/CD Pipelines: Experience in setting up and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
8. Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor the QA team, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
9. Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, developers, and other team members, and to clearly articulate testing strategies and results.
10.Analytical Thinking: Sharp analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
11.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and accurate reporting of defects.
12.Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to address and resolve testing challenges.
13.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and changing project requirements.
14.Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desired Experience:-
Overall 10+ years experience of QA / Test Lead specilaizing in quality assurance services of Custom Apps (Java, .NET) , Azure Platform , WMS-Red Prairie platforms, including:-
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Test Planning and Strategy, Team Leadership, Test Execution and Management, Quality Assurance and Defect Management.
3. Experience in Test automation Tools: like Selenium, JIRA, Postman, Jenkins, and Cucumber for automating and managing tests.
4. Experience in SQL and database management to validate data integrity and perform backend testing.
5. Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems, particularly Red Prairie, to test and validate logistics and supply chain processes.
6. Familiar with Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics and familiarity with performance testing tools like LoadRunner to ensure system scalability and reliability.
7. Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
8. Relevant degree such as Bachelor's or Master's Degree in, Computer Science, Business/Administration, Business, Engineering, Information Technology.
9. Relevant certifications are highly desirable:-ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP), Microsoft Certified:Azure Fundamentals, RedPrairie (JDA) Certification, etc.
