Responsibilities
• Manage Transfer Agency Dealing Desk & Clearing and Settlement activities.
• Tasks include Trade booking and Special Funds handling via various electronic links (Fax, Swift, FTP, NSCC, Clearstream, Euroclear etc)., FXes handling, Manual Payments &
• Coordinate the development, maintenance and control processes, procedures, checklists aReconciliatio of varous TA accounts and maange end to end transaction settlements.
• Ensure effective compliance and controls in own area. Ensure strict adherence to relevant procedures.
• Identify and plan the teams Training and Personal Development needs, develop staff. Conduct staff appraisals and performance plans.
• Ensure timely and accurate handling of all Dealing & Settlement activities
• Ensure monthly KPI/SLA benchmarks archived as prescribed in the process
• Ensure Legal and Funds requirements are met, for assisting with project management activities and for developing new Transfer Agency policies and procedures.
• Sign off relevant daily verifications and process validations.
• Participate in audits, Compliance and Risk sample checks
• Promote a positive attitude towards internal policies, procedures and controls.
• Act as a mentor to staff on team – delegate work as appropriate, support their training and development, monitor their performance and provide feedback to management.
• Lead the hiring process for new hires and monitoring ongoing hiring and staff development needs
• Liaise with branch offices and local departments in Europe locations
• Excellent staff management skills, demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
• Advanced computer skills with high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of MFTA , EXP & Creation Online System will be added advantage
• Excellent command of English language. Other language skills such as German, French or any other European language would be an asset
• Good team work skills – listen to others on the team, encourage their participation and development, work with people at various different levels and in various different departments and functions within Transfer Agency and across the SG group
• Good problem-solving skills, pro-active attitude to new tasks and challenges
• Ability to ‘think outside the box’ in order to achieve solutions to business challenges
• Adhere to SG information security policies and code of conduct.
• Willing to work in shifts (European timing) and during Indian holidays
