Role Description:

The Senior Manager of Product Management is a newly-created position within the Business Technology organization to meet the fast growing demands to drive Salesforce innovation and business growth. The Sr. Manager, Product Management will lead a team of product managers and analysts in Business Technology Applications through project initiation, execution, and deployment. Providing guidance through their career progressions, these people and product leadership roles are also responsible for effective executive stakeholder engagement. You will be leading portfolios related to enterprise integration, Data and analytics,. Directing work assignments, portfolio roadmaps, influencing the balance of scope-budget-timelines, strategic planning and staffing, and demonstrating agile expertise with functional-technical-operational processes are some of the other key capabilities for this role. Your Impact:
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a track record of building and leading global technology teams in a multi-billion dollar enterprise software company, preferably in the cloud. The successful candidate is highly strategic and yet attunes to critical details. The individual will have a high sense of urgency, executive presence, and an outstanding history of partnering with Engineering, Product and Infrastructure teams to deliver a world class Enterprise Data and Integration platform. This role will enable increase the efficiency of future integrations, including seamless employee on-boarding, security uplift, SOX compliance, and core business processes such as lead-to-cash and post-sales support through cutting edge integration platforms.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build, manage, multiply, coach and develop a team of outstanding individuals providing product management and business systems analysis for transformational enterprise projects, capability enhancements, and unparalleled partnership.
- Guide a strategic roadmap of initiatives for techno-functional innovation in the industry-defining environment for cloud-computing business operations.
- Represent and lead diverse delivery functions in program/project core team and executive steering committee meetings.
- Engage customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to determine business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic objectives.
- Own the product vision for Enterprise Data and Integration initiatives . Ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company vision. Be an expert on the domain, the market, the trends. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned.
- Manage the roadmap. Make tough tactical prioritization decisions while helping the company think long term. Build trust with stakeholders by maintaining an understandable, accurate roadmap
- Represent and lead diverse delivery functions in program/project core team and executive steering committee meetings.
- Collaborate and communicate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product management plays a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job
- Work with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholders with flexibility and excellent communication and presentation skills
- Collaborating with Our Global Product Management function, Engineering function, Enterprise Operations and directing prioritised work assignments across multiple delivery initiatives

- Develop practices that help teams create a clear and concise product vision and well-articulated value proposition that is measurable and enables quantification of business value.
- Collaborate with PM, engineering, and operations peers to deliver strategic and tactical plans and objectives.
- Strong product management skills in building and delivering on enterprise scale products
- Contribute to and deploy the strategy for process automation at Salesforce to support the rapid scaling of business and technology operations
- In partnership with Enterprise Architecture, manage the architecture framework, technologies and tooling to deliver on enterprise products
- Identify automation opportunities across the enterprise to scope, prioritize and roadmap their implementation
- Lead a cross-functional team of product managers and business partners in the delivery of automation solutions to scale Salesforce operations
- Own the delivery of the product roadmap incorporating projects, features and other key initiatives
- Act as a team lead on highly visible projects and critical assignments
- Work proactively to predict and minimize potential issues before they arise, and resolve those that do in a timely manner
- Communicate at both the business and technical level (written and verbal)
- Navigate complex situations involving multiple parties
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering in Computer Science, or MBA, with a preferable Industry Domain expertise in Data , Analytics and Integration
- Exposure to Data visualization and ETL / Integration technologies is a mandate skill.
- 3+ years in product leadership
- 8+ years managing Global teams
- Experience in Leadership skill development and healthy teaming. Experience with the management of individual contributors, people managers and consultants
- Product management experience with Enterprise SaaS
- Prior experience with Salesforce ecosystem along with MuleSoft and / or other competing integration technologies / Tableau and/or other competing Data visualization products is preferred
- Superb analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to represent this mission-critical function to executive leadership, customers and other key stakeholders
- Ability to inspire a team to drive consistent excellence in a dynamic, fast-pace, result-oriented, can-do environment
