Job Description
GSRD is hiring a Regional Sales Manager/Assistant Sales & Marketing for LED Lighting Business.
You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.
- Develop a growth strategy for the region (s) to generate demand for GSRD LED lighting products
- Relentlessly generate demand by prospecting, quoting and closing new business opportunities by leveraging existing relationship, engaging high level/ key decision-makers for GSRD LED lighting products for outdoor applications
- Collaborate with marketing on segmentation analysis and marketing initiatives including design and development of marketing communications and collateral
- Build, maintain & drive a robust pipeline of opportunities to grow sales revenue and drive market share growth
- Appoint Channel partners and developing new market avenues
- Work to create a business environment for success in municipal and government business
- Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
- Delivery of sales performance as per the monthly budget including stretch plan
Performance Standards
- Sales performance versus budget
- New initiatives to drive exponential business growth
- Followup of projects secured by each of target market segment opportunity
- Continuous updates on market activity by competitors
- Weekly review of call reports and market intelligence
- Delivery of sales performance as per the monthly/quarterly/yearly budget including stretch plan and accuracy of forecast given by customer/project
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA/B.Tech/M.Tech with 38 years of industry experience
- Experience in Industrial, Govt., Municipalities, PSU, Other Private Organisation etc
- Very good communication skills
- Good Knowledge of Govt tender fulfilment for Empanelment, Orders Etc.
- The ability to motivate staff and lead a team
