Job Description
NVIDIA is looking for a highly motivated Automotive Software Quality Manager to join its dynamic and fast-paced Development Team, where you will be working at the forefront of technical innovation with some of the best in the industry and ensuring our automotive software engineering teams are complying to NVIDIA quality goals and our implementation of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and other industry standards.
What you'll be doing:
- In this role, you’ll be working as the interface between our Infrastructure, Planning and Processes team that defines standard processes across the company, and our diverse development teams. You’ll be involved in both, definition of quality processes and their implementation across development teams
- As member of a working group, define new quality processes and improve existing structures
- Negotiate quality goals for the engineering teams and supervise their implementation
- Write Quality Management plans for programs and projects
- Guide or assist in different quality activities, e.g., reviews and inspections, release readiness checks, quality gates, etc.
- Analyze and interpret quality related data
- Develop quality reports for Projects and Program
- Represent the team in all quality related matters, for example in ASPICE and Safety assessments
- Monitor the quality of supplier
What we need to see:
- 10+ years of validated experience.
- BS or MS in an engineering related subject area, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of and experience in software development (V-model)
- Knowledge of standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434
- Knowledge in quality and interpersonal excellence methodologies
- Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Hands-on engineering experience in automotive software projects in a quality related role
- Successful implementation of a quality system in a large automotive program
- Experience working in a multi-cultural, global environment
