Roles and Responsibilities

1. Develop/review content for various scientific communication deliverables including medical information management, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and manuscripts meeting quality requirements as per client satisfaction metrics, with active guidance from the manager.

2. Management of publications through Datavision

3. Responsible to develop content as per the timelines assigned

4. Responsible to follow the best practices in the department regarding - processes, communication (internal & external), project management, documentation, and technical requirements like - language, grammar, stylization, content search, summarizing, data conflicts, and referencing

5. Participate in assigned training programs and work on assignments as per requirement

6. Participate in client calls as per project requirements

7. Compliance with quality, confidentiality, and security:

8. Adhere and follow quality systems, processes, and policies

9. Comply with training and specifications

10. . Management of a small group of medical writers

Desired Skills (Education, Experience, Key Skills)

1. Minimum 6 to 9 years of medical/scientific writing experience in pharmaceutical companies or medical communications agencies

2. Understanding of any specialty area of medicine (preferred) or an overall understanding of the medical field.

3. Strong flair and passion for writing.

4. Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.

5. Passion for networking.

6. Being up-to-date with the latest technical/scientific developments and relating them to various projects.

7. Skilled with use of Microsoft tools

Education

UG: BHMS in Any Specialization, BAMS in Any Specialization, BDS in Dentistry, MBBS in Medicine

PG: Medical-MS/MD in Any Specialization, MS/M.Sc(Science) in Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology, M.Pharma in Pharmacy, MDS in Any Specialization

Doctorate: Ph.D in Botany, Medicine, Immunology, Zoology, Microbiology, Biomedical, Rheumatology, Pathology, Biotechnology
