Job Description
Manager To Deputy General Manager Production for Cement Manufacturing
Operation and controlling of process parameters of Kiln, Coal mill, Raw mill, Cement mill and maintaining the required quality of product at all stages of manufacturing to achieve target production at optimum cost with Zero accident. Installation of the refractory incomplete plant (Kiln, Cooler, Preheater) during the shutdown.
Supervised projects to cost, resource deployment, and quality compliance; evaluating project progress & taking adequate corrective actions.
Carried out significant installations and commissioning in the plants; handled inspection, pre-commissioning, and functional testing functions.
Ensured operations to be as per the set parameters & standards and experience of developing procedures for operational excellence.
Skilled in carrying out efficient troubleshooting in case of problems in the functioning of process-related equipment.
Carried out all activity with adducted safety precautions.
Working of SAP PP module and ERP (Working as an end user)
Surfing the Internet for gathering knowledge of different areas.
Operating Systems: Windows XP, Vista, 7 & 8.
Analysis of quality and throughputs deviations on daily basis and preparing an action plan to reduce the deviations
Weekly and monthly production planning, Raw material requirement and planning as per the budget
Deliver the production to achieving the dispatch targets
Subordinates and Business partners job engagement and utilization
Well-versed in Material & Heat balance of a kiln system & Vertical Mills, measurement of airflow, temperature and pressure profile, false air monitoring across the preheater.
Study of daily production figures and power consumption and coordinating with subordinates to work in the direction to optimize the same.
Refractory selection and Installation as per the requirement and suitability
Responsible for breakdown analysis of problems and troubleshooting them.
Raw Mix Design preparation as per the Kiln Behavior to develop Best Production and Good Quality Cement,
Best Quality Cement Should be made as per the requirement of customers & with the availability of raw materials and minimizes the cost-effective,
Planning & scheduling to the ball mill grinding systems for better quality production, with day by day observation and enhance the grinding efficiency with the minimizes power consumption by following the grinding system circuit
Ensure the materials management system and additive with target stock maintain,
Planning to schedule for testing, inspection, and controlling activities of all the incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure consistent quality products with following the SQC system practices,
Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with government agencies and other strategic alliances Complying to all the Environment, Health & safety measures and ensuring its compliance by the quality department, Played a key role in preparing and maintaining documents of BIS, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and the Environment, Health & safety measures Well knowledge in operation calibration of XRF, XRD (Oxford, ARL, Bruker)
Formulate and gain agreement to monitor and Control the Quality, budget ensure the efficient & Effective Utilization resources minimization of Cost,
Planning for procurement of Laboratory related equipment & spares in time. And ensuring availability of update and revised standards,
Ensure that the team Collaborators has received indication and training in their job responsibilities and authority general criteria including applicable codes and standards,
Successful technology transfer of research projects at various levels in the quality & production with cost benefits to the Organization,
Monitoring & Suggesting to Subordinates all Quality Control Objectives & Limits, Coordinate with the Process Head for operational relation and when my contribution is required I will shear with them,
Should Gain Expertise in conflict management and successfully contributed for
lowering of Carbon footprints through the addition of grinding aids along with
product diversification from grey cement to green cement.
Proficient in managing day to day corporate affairs of the business, strategic
planning, plant supervision, and product monitoring.
Continuously carried out business developments and actively participated in
system implementation, change management and continuous improvement.
Strong believer of human resource development regularly involved in
recruitments process and always performed as a mentor, trainer and team
leader.
Developed and prepared team for resilience and tenacity for smooth plant
operation.
Should Actively involved in performance appraisal and as mentor developed
Should Actively participate in strategic negotiations for the task management.
Successfully devised and implemented effective strategies to enhance
the organization's bottom line.
An impressive communicator with honed interpersonal skills like team spirit,
dependability, responsibility, flexibility, motivation, and patience.
Skilled in negotiations and elaborated quality control & process skills to the
team.
Having full exposure of Quality standards, ISO, TQM, OSHA, EMP, EIA, and EHS
management.
Well, verse with Microsoft computer skills like office, words, XL, powerpoint
etc. Regularly involved in preparation and monitoring of consolidated
extensives reports on various aspects related to cement plant
operation, process efficiency, costing exercise and down time analysis (DTA).
