Overview
We are looking for a Graphic Design Specialist, based in Bangalore, to support IDC's Content Marketing Services (CMS) team.
The IDC Asia/Pacific CMS team develops and delivers custom solutions and programs designed around clients' specific business goals using a foundation of research and insights across technologies, geographies, and industries; as well as expertise across practice areas (strategy, sales and marketing, and business measurement and management). It deepens engagement at every touch point with IDC branded social, mobile, and multi-channel content assets.
The Graphic Design Specialist will design a range of content such as whitepapers, infographics, eBooks, eDMs, and other visuals as required. He/She must ensure high-quality deliverables that meet and exceed task specifications. He/She will collaborate, not just with the CMS team, but with internal clients and stakeholders of the design projects, to fulfill operational requests, clarify requirements, propose feasible solutions, and deliver according to the service-level agreements.
Job Roles/Responsibilities:-
- Provide design support for the CMS team and must oversee design projects from conception to delivery
- Conceptualize, design, and execute a wide variety of branded creative projects including custom research reports, web banners, brochures, marketing collaterals, and other digital content and design materials
- Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
- Refine images, fonts, and layouts using graphic design software
- Generate ideas to portray concepts and deliver the right messages
- Maintain brand consistency throughout all IDC business projects
- Stay up to date with industry developments and tools
Qualifications :-
- With at least 2-5 years' experience as a graphic designer (portfolio/link to portfolio is required upon application that demonstrates strength in data visualization and proficiency in graphic design/digital imaging/typography/layout, and creativity and originality)
- Must have a diploma in graphic design, with preference given to BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts, or other relevant field; graduates of marketing and communication, as long as they have the required design qualifications, are welcome to apply
- With experience in designing web pages, print ads, digital assets, signage, photographs, presentations, artwork, etc.
- Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Cloud applications, and with image-editing software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, and other similar tools
- Must have strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts, and layouts
- Must demonstrate attention to visual details
- Must be deadline and quality oriented, and must be a strong team player with excellent collaboration and coordination skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English; comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment
- Must have excellent communications skills; must have strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
Knowledge of video editing and motion graphics is a plus
