Roles and Responsibilities
Principal Responsibilities:
- Support for all HR permits and licenses, supporting business continuity by providing all the legal permits ( RC submission, Solvent, Sulphur, Factory license).
- Ensure smooth hand covering of contract billing process to Aparajitha.
- Control overtime, ensure manpower availability, and reduce absenteeism
- Make strategic plans to ensure supply of manpower during the festival period and peak season
- Ensure all disciplinary actions, safety and quality violations corrective actions, and letters to be issued.
- Ensure right contract billing provision and opportunities to save cost.
- Support one Business center in driving and supporting operational excellence pillar for a workforce of around 300 associates.
- Direct, monitor, and control variances in order to ensure smooth operations for staff contractual hc on the third party.
- Manage new associate orientations & induction; provide inputs to related functions.
- Ensure performance management system for temps in place. Ensure their readiness and monitoring performance, engagement, and retention.
- Joining formalities, documentation, and approvals in place
- Direct & monitor exits and settlement processes including up keeping the proper record of Exit associates like No dues certificate / Exit clearance forms / Exit Interview.
- Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a Plant HR role
- Prior experience in Contract Labour Management.
Personal Skills/ Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Flexibility for high upcountry/local travel
Education:
- A Graduate degree
- An MBA is preferred
