Salary: Rs. 60,000/- to 70,000/- CTC (Based upon Experience)

Key Roles & Responsibilities of Medical Officer (MBBS):
- Support the team in the development of route plan for the MMU;
- Provide preventive, promotive and curative health care and referral services to patients during MMU-OPDs;
- Document processes and maintain health records of patients as per project requirement;
- Utilize, supervise and manage stock of medicines, healthcare products and reagents for regular MMU services;
- Supervise safe disposal of biomedical wastes;
- Liaise and interact with other medical, non-medical staff, health department officials and community members and create and maintain positive image of the organization and the OTPC/ ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited for the services delivered;
- Network with other medical professionals/ specialists in and around the project site and solicit their support as and when need arises;
- Encourage health literacy amongst the target audience;
- Supervise functions and quality of services of the MMU technical team;
- Provide regular need-based technical training to MMU team;
- Weekly awareness programs in the target Blocks to spread awareness amongst the rural communities about the importance of health and hygiene, communicable and non-communicable diseases, information about the Mobile healthcare program of OTPC etc.
- Organize Medical Camps across the targeted Blocks through deployment of Mobile Health Vans
- Detection & treatment of childhood illness such as vitamin deficiencies, malnutrition, diarrhoea, measles, mumps etc.
- Detection & treatment of anaemia & common deficiencies in prenatal & postnatal mothers.
- Screening for identification of hypertension, diabetes, defective vision, epilepsy, asthma etc.
- Detection & treatment of commonly endemic communicable and non-communicable diseases.
- Detection & counselling of patients suffering from mental illness, tobacco/alcohol/drug addiction etc.
- Dressing of minor cuts & wounds, providing first aid for snake/animal bites etc.
- Laboratory Tests such as BP, Pulse, Pregnancy test, Blood Sugar level estimation, Hb%, malaria detection test, Hepatitis, HIV detection, ECG for early detection of diseases like Sugar, diabetes, heart disease etc.
- Support the team in compilation and submission of progress report; and
- Perform other tasks which may be assigned by the reporting manager from time to time.
Candidate Profile (Key Competencies & Skills):
The candidate should have a professional degree (MBBS), registered with Medical Council, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience (or a retired active MBBS doctor) with strong public health care skills. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Project Brief:
ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited (hereinafter referred as "OTPC" or "Owner"), a joint venture company promoted by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited ("ONGC"), GAIL and Government of Tripura, is a public limited company incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 and having its registered office at ONGC Tripura Power Company, Udaipur Kakraban Road, Palatana P.O., District Gomati,, Tripura - 799105 (India).
HLFPPT in partnership with ONGC Tripura Power Company Limited is providing mobile health services through MHU's at Gomati & Dhalai districts of Tripura under OTPC CSR Program. The project aim is to promote health and access to public healthcare delivery to marginalized and vulnerable population and make available primary health care services with good standard and quality to the underserved population living in remote areas in Gomati & Dhalai Districts in Tripura.
