FP&A - Profile
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets, including periodical updates of the same as required, and consolidate into region budget
Measure and analyze financial performance and troubleshoot, where applicable
Review income statement data and adjustments for accuracy and validity
Ensure monthly/ quarterly/ yearly closing are completed within the timeline
Review account reconciliation and raise any queries/ concerns with relevant parties
Comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts, and performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make appropriate recommendations
Creating, updating, and maintaining financial models and detailed forecasts
Provide advice and support to business operations in examining and evaluating cost-efficiency
Provide financial support during proposal preparation and subsequent negotiations on high impact business opportunities
Be a change leader by participating in and leading the implementation or execution of global finance initiatives within the region
Ensure the SOX Control environment is implemented/adhered to within the region
Support special projects or audits as applicable
Lead and provide leadership guidance to the finance team in partnering with the business in all areas of finance operations
Ensure the finance team is performing their duties in areas of Project Review - analyzing project profitability, reconciling contract balances to ensure accurate project financials each month/quarter by reviewing required reports
Coordinate staffing, training activities of the finance team to ensure effective job performance
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience in a similar role, preferably in the service industry
Prior experience in IGAAP and US GAAP with project management experience
Highly analytical, with the ability to solve complex problems, and a high level of commercial acumen
Proficient in MS Office applications, especially high proficiency in MS excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, tables, and graph production) and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and under high pressure
Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Cross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge of, and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
A team player who can work well with all levels
Oracle Cloud ERP experience is preferred
The position is open to be based in either India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, or Singapore depending on the selected candidate's home country location
