Job Description
What you ll be doing...
You will be responsible for Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of business-critical enterprise systems based on service architectural needs, using enterprise tools to help automate processes in an efficient, manageable, and secure manner.
- Deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting DevOps platform including application servers, cloud resources, API management and Integration, Single Sign-On and associated hardware or endpoints, and databases.
- Monitoring and auditing virtual/hardware resources, security, operating system, service logs, and metrics for performance issues using centralized tools.
- Design, deploy, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery process using tools like Jenkins, maven Git, etc.
- Deploying applications (WAR, JAR, and EAR) in the stand-alone domains of weblogic, websphere, tomcat and clustered environments.
- Writing UNIX Shell Scripts and Ansible scripts to automate System Admin jobs.
- Designing, building and deploying a multitude of applications utilizing a number of components of the AWS including EC2, S3,Auto Scaling group, ELB, CFT.
- Developing in-depth security architecture standards, frameworks and design patterns.
Implementation of vendor provided fixes for defects, performance enhancements or security related issues. - Secure Configuration review and implementation.
What we re looking for...
You\ll need to have:
Bachelor\s degree or one or more years of work experience.
Experience deploying applications (WAR, JAR, and EAR) in the stand-alone domains of weblogic, websphere, tomcat and clustered environments.
Experience writing UNIX Shell Scripts and Ansible scripts to automate System Admin jobs.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master\s degree.
AWS certification.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience designing and deploying a multitude applications utilizing almost all of the AWS stack (Including EC2, Route53, S3, ELB, IAM) focusing on high-availability, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling.
