Job Role:
Work as part of Azure Capacity Management team as a part of BY Customer Success organization monitoring and optimizing resource usage for our customers on Public Cloud.
Key Role Expectations:
Work on Azure resources utilization along the complete customer lifecycle
Continuously optimize the Azure cost in balance with Customer service availability and reliability
Identify and realize opportunities for automating and scaling with optimum resource utilization
Customer Solution Profiling, including environment specification mapping
Define Azure resource allocation process across the customer lifecycle
The process to manage change/deviation to environment specification and track through Azure Activity log
Monitor, report, and ensure that Private cloud resources are decommissioned
Run regular governance meetings with respective PODs / Stakeholders
Executing manual procedures for flexing Azure resources
Design, Develop, Continuous Improvement Activities including automation of SOPs
Reporting, Analytics, and Insight generation to help decision making
Experience & Education:
Total 1-5 years of overall IT experience
Hands-on experience of Azure environment performance/capacity management
SQL, PL/SQL, Power BI
Awareness of sizing and provisioning across Database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server)
Tech Savvy able to adapt to any technology faster
Technical Skills:
Azure technical skills: Certified in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
o Azure infrastructure Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Resource Management templates,
o Virtual Machines, and Azure Active Directory, Azure disks, Vnet, subnet creation, and NSG UDR rules,
o Azure storage, blobs, disks, etc.
o Autoscaling, Internal Load Balancing (LB), Availability zone, Azure backup, Snapshots, and restorations
o Key vault, recovery vault, and Azure recovery site Knowledge on multiple operating systems, including Linux, and Windows
Report development skills e.g., power-BI, PowerShell
Automation skills using Azure tools like ARM templates, Runbooks and languages like Python and PowerShell
Good to Have Skills:
Familiar with Agile and able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
Understands application technology stack (TOMCAT, CITRIX, IIS)
App D/ Splunk knowledge
ITIL, Service Management Certification
Awareness of ITIL, Service Management processes
Personality Skills:
Delivery and outcome-focused
Analytical bent of mind and capability to use tools like MS Excel for complex analytics
Strong communication skills
