Education (degree / diploma): B Pharma/ BE/ B-Tech degree in Operations Management with experience in Asset Supply Planning.

POSITION SUMMARY
- This role is a part of the Global Supply Planning organization primarily responsible for working closely with production, quality and other plant cross functional teams to derive on an aligned signoff Production Plan with focus on execution and tactical planning, optimizing capacity plans, material availability and customer order servicing.
- This position will jointly work with Production(Filling & Packing) on scheduling prioritization to optimize production, capacity and customer delivery.
- This position is accountable for Material Planning for the Bangalore DP Site.
- The role holder is accountable to the Global Supply Planning Lead for capacity and material planning to maximise the production plan.
OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Planning and scheduling
- Validate net production requirements of the plant with SC Ops Planners.
- Maintain and Run the Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) tool on net production requirement for generating a capacity levelled production and packing plan
- Update operational inputs like planned shutdowns etc. in the Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) tool
- Generate monthly production and packing plans to meet demand and capacity/material availability at plants aligned with SC Ops Planners, Production, Procurement, Manufacturing and Quality.
- Monthly | Fortnightly| Weekly Scheduling of products on all lines (Filling & Packing) to optimize servicing market requirements, with the agreed capacity norms.
- Dynamic scheduling as an when a market event occurs to match the market requirements movement and criticality at a frequency to optimize servicing the markets.
- Drive coordination with plant stakeholders and execution activities to implement the agreed production plan.
- Ensure timely MRP run to generate material requirements and ensure material availability with the procurement team.
- Call off JIT/ on requirement RM|PPM|SPM| TPM based on dynamic scheduling in coordination with Procurement and Warehousing teams.
- Monitor RM/PM inventory levels across plants and ensure adherence to norms
- Sequencing and prioritization of RM| PM release with Site Quality to meet the requirements of the market.
- Participate in plant level CFT discussion to capture inputs around constraints for supply planning.
- Participate in discussions with the SC Ops Planners to track and confirm the initial committed plans and incorporate inputs
- Adhere to the process for additional new requirements post S&OP meetings
- On new business opportunities discuss feasibility checks on capacity with production and quality teams and communicate to SC Ops planner in two working days.
- Track & monitor progress of plan execution and drive intermittent issue resolution with production and procurement teams to maximize supplies against commitments. Publish the daily plan adherence dashboard calling out deviations
- Prioritization sequencing of products to guide Production team on prioritization in case of bottlenecks.
- Driving production, regulatory teams and Cross functional teams for regulatory assessments, code to code and all other documentation to ensure that product is filled, finished and packed.
- Supporting SC Ops Planners in driving closure of QMS elements with production to enable batch releases.
Material masters and system hygiene
Maintain following system hygiene at plant end in coordination with respective owners:
- FG Material Master
- FG BOMs, Recipes & Production Versions
- SFG Material Master
- Resources Master
New product launch & Exhibit R&D Requirement
- Work with new product launches / Program Management team and support with resolution of issues at plant for New Products
- Support prioritization and sequencing of NPLs with Site CFTs| Site stakeholders to meet the launch timeline.
- Development requirements planning while optimizing capacity and commercial requirements.
Participate in S&OP
- Represent the site in pre-S&OP and S&OP meetings.
- Represent the supply side and drive discussions with the internal plant teams for arriving at consensus plan to execute the production plan.
Metrics and measurement
- Monitor key metrics at the plant level (Demand vs. Supply, Committed supply vs. Actual supply, RM/PM inventory, RM/PM write-off)
- Drive identified resolution actions based on root causes analysis and action planning to resolve the deviations.
Budget & Long-Range Planning
- Driving the capacity planning for Short term(0-3 months) Mid Term (1 year)
- Support the Capacity planning for long term, with inputs on capacity additions, productivity improvements, network optimization.
- Contributing to the overall Value Stream Maps for specific supply chains from a site perspective
- Create the overall annual inventory budget for Short to Long terms, collaborate with Procurement, Production and warehousing to align on requirement of Inventory, warehouse space and inventory holding.
