Job Description
Candidate must have 5to 10 years experience of Civil substation/switchyard project.Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects.Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on strict timeline.Monitor the operations and working of staff on the siteInteract and communicate effectively with other subcontractors, and other staff.The civil engineer must think creatively and logically to resolve various issues in the development processWhile the project is undergoing, a civil engineer is also responsible for safety measures on siteOverseeing construction engineering processes.Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.Set a perfect schedule for purchase of equipment and raw materialsManaging budgets and project resourcesManage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable mannerContributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs.Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other.Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget.Documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs.Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE OF PERSONNEL DEPLOYEDDegree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.Experience with 400kV Switchyard/similar projects, management of complex projectsAbility to understand complex situations quickly, e.g., Contracts, operational changesStrong communication skills required to successfully collaborate with diverse internal teams as well as suppliers and customersAdvanced skills in MS Word and Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Experience in a related industry
