Job Description
We have an urgent requirement for an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Chennai Location.
Responsible for day-to-day restaurant operations, team management, customer experience and maintaining a SAFE and CLEAN environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures.
- Understand company Standard Operating Procedures and ensure all staff follows directions as listed.
- Tacking utmost care of Dine-in, Take Away & Home delivery orders & ensure zero missed orders while also maintaining service standards.
- Operate Cash/Card payments and manage POS system.
- Ensure hygiene & cleanliness is maintained at all times.
- Monitor opportunities to reduce wastage on food & beverage preparation through continuous monitoring and team member training.
- Monitor opportunities to reduce overall cost through optimized usage of electrical equipment, including A/Cs.
- Ensure proper functioning & maintenance of restaurant equipment through regular preventive maintenance.
- Impart Continuous Team Member Training.
- Resolve Team member conflicts and ensure employee engagement
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years work experience as Captain or Senior Captain in a Restaurant or QSR outlets.
- Should have handled a team of 15 Plus employees.
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel & Catering management shall hold an added advantage
