Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure planning and implementation of brand strategy for the category across the regions & channels in line with the company's overall business strategy.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Primary responsibility for achieving the Brand's long term and short term business objectives
- Should have working experience in handling digital/ Creative/ BTL agencies
- Monitor, analyse, and evaluate market trends, consumer / customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for the brands.
- Monitor, analyse, and evaluate brand performance and customer and consumer feedback to ensure that the marketing mix is aligned to meet changing customer / consumer needs.
- Understand market research needs for the brands and develop / execute a market research road map. Ensure market research done is utilized meaningfully to achieve business objectives
- Develop and ensure the execution of brand plans (includes communication development) to deliver the short term and long term business objectives (namely sales, market share, profitability and brand health) of the relevant group of brands.
- Identify and interface with advertising / communication agencies to execute branding, promotion/advertising campaigns and ensure adequate coverage of the events in the concerned media space
- Strengthen Brand Parameters by smart utilization of Marketing Mix striking balance between Business objectives and Brand Objectives
- Being Creative in developing Brand Communication both in various ATL (TV, Radio, OOH, DIGITAL), Consumer Promotions as well as BTL (POS, Events etc). Drive ROI on marketing investments by constantly measuring and evaluating spends
- Ensure a high level of brand recall in each product segment
- Develop and Implement local brand & portfolio strategies in lines with the brand strategy
- Content development and creative planning to execute the advertising plans in line with the overall marketing strategy
- Lead the design of communication collateral, posters, advertisements, presentation templates and other material required for an effective sales pitch
- Develop and implement processes to capture market information and changing customer preferences, analyze them and highlight key trends and their impact
- Effectively manage external interfaces (advertising agencies, media agencies, PR agencies and market research agencies) and internal interfaces with cross functional teams to deliver on brand objectives
