Assistant Manager/Manager Fundraising & Corporate Relations - for Sentiss Foundations Not-for-Profit Hospital
Objective of the role of a Assistant Manager/Manager Fundraising & Corporate Relations
SADH Care Hospital is a not-for-profit initiative and provides high quality healthcare services at subsidized rates. At present, SADH Care Hospital is unable to meet its operational expenses and is being funded by Sentiss Foundation. To make the Hospital self-sustaining in its operations and to cater to the future growth plans, the Hospital requires an extensive Fundraising program and social media marketing initiatives for building its brand as a not-for-profit Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy & Execution
- Raise funds for hospital and regularly meet or surpass fundraising targets
- Collaborate with the hospital administration team to create a fundraising strategy plan which will help in meeting the operational expenses of the hospital
- Generate leads for donations to the Hospital researching and approaching trusts, Government agencies, corporates and other bodies
- Create and present donation packages/proposals to leads generated
- Develop relationships with major donors, identify new potential donors and establish relationships
- Manage information and record profile and fundraising activity of donors on a database
- Manage grant/donation application process and ensure that reporting is tracked and meets donors' expectations
- Maximize public awareness of the fundraising activities of the hospital
- Monitor and evaluate all fundraising activities to ensure that the fundraising goals are being achieved
- Attend relevant fundraising forums & Recruit and manage volunteers for a fundraising project
Marketing & Branding Strategy
- Design and execute a strategy to increase patient flow and reduce asset idleness
- Primary & secondary research to identify ways of creating awareness about charitable hospitals on online and offline platforms
- Conduct competitive analysis of marketing strategies of not-for-profit/charitable hospitals
- Develop and implement offline marketing strategies using traditional marketing methods for building brand awareness and reputation of the hospital
Skills and Qualities
- Communication skills: writing dynamic funding proposals and inspiring people to commit to the cause in question
- Interpersonal skills: constantly interacting with sources, persuading them about the value of donating to the Hospital
- Research and analytical skills: sourcing information and statistics, researching trends, assessing costs, maintaining databases and budgets
- Creativity: idea generation is important for marketing communication and branding
- Resilience and flexibility: constantly seeking new opportunities for generating funds
- IT skills: for incorporating more public interfaces online (for lead generation and long-term relationship building)
Education and Experience
- Relevant experience of 2-5 years in Fundraising & development sector or CSR (Corporate and/or NGOs) is a must
- MBA/PGDM in HR/ Marketing/ Sales is an advantage but not mandatory
- Must have relevant industry experience and network.

About SADH Care Hospital (SADH Care)
In January 2017, a step was taken by Sentiss Foundation along with Ashram Hari Mandir Trust on healthcare setting up of SADH Care Hospital a not for profit initiative. The purpose of the project was to provide High quality healthcare at an affordable cost to the rural populace in India. Pataudi, situated almost 40km away from Gurgaon, was devoid of a multi-specialty hospital to cater to the healthcare needs of the people. SADH Care Hospital was inaugurated on 31st January 2017 with a view to provide emergency and high-quality healthcare services at highly subsidized rates to the rural population in and around Pataudi, India.
With a state-of-the-art medical equipment, SADH Care Hospital prides itself on providing services for dental, ophthalmology, dermatology, urology, neurology, pediatrics, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, orthodontology & implantology and cardiology. The groups of doctors also include anesthesiologist & ICU expert, radiologist, physiotherapist, ultrasound graphologist and pathologist. The Major and Minor operation theatres, 24 hours trauma & ICU, 24 hours accident emergency services, neo-natal ICU and 24 hours ultrasound and x-ray services are state-of-the-art and have been much praised by the people availing the services.
